What I have learned from my children and parakeets

These are only a few of the things that I have learned.

From parakeets: They are noisy, but they like to do their own thing and not interact with anyone else. They are harder to put up with than children.

From Brett: humor and quiet observation.

From Mindy: compassionate and faithful to her friends and family

From Kari: adventurous and fiercely self-reliant.

I think that on some days I am more like the parakeets.

I'm fierce, ya know sometimes I do roar just for the hell of it. When Phillip was a bit younger we'd have roaring matches. :)
Ya know when I was little I would dream about growing up and dancing in the snow naked. The closest I got to that was making snow angels in the buff. Some people frown on those types of things. I just don't get it.
Actually now that I'm thinking along the lines. I was pretty old before I would wear more than just underwear around the house, it actually took Brett to threaten me to tell his friend.

I think roaring is good. I went skinny dipping once.
