cleaning the house

As quite a few of you know, I am a terrible housekeeper. But I think I was inspired (and probably shamed) by my daughter who is 8 months pregnant and who recently posted that she did a bunch of cleaning. I can't even imagine how she did that with a big cumbersome belly, a 1 1/2 year old, and working from home.

Anyway, today I cleaned the bathroom, even mopped the floor, cleaned the kitchen (still working on that), dusted the living room a little bit, emptied the vacuum cleaner (I might get around to vacuuming, if not, it is ready when I do). I hope to also reorganize two closets, change the sheets on the bed, and make a pizza fro scratch.

Usually my Sunday routine is: sit in front of the TV and computer and vegetate.

breathing is overrated

I am doing so much better since my 3 week long cold. I am taking Zyrtec - it finally is available over the counter - and since I have been taking it again, it seems my coughing has been better. I still have a little problem first thing in the morning.

Well today I forgot to take it in the morning, but I didn't even think of it because I was doing okay, except for the coughing spell first thing in the morning. I took some cough medicine for that. Tonight Dave and I ran up to the grocery store to get some necessities. I was going to go alone, but Dave offered to drive and I took him up on his offer, which I am glad I did. As soon as I walked out the door my lungs tightened up and started wheezing and coughing. I was able to go to the store, but I was glad Dave was driving. As soon as I got home I grabbed my inhaler (which I haven't had to use in a long time) and remembered that I hadn't taken the Zyrtec. I am still wheezing a bit, but it is getting better. Needless to say, breathing is overrated.
